my personal favorite is the philosophy class, so i’m glad we are given a daily dose of one hour with yogesh.

today we learnt that the word asana means “sit comfortably” in sanskrit. yogis cannot be concentrated in long meditation sessions, if their back hurts or they have lack of control over their bodies.

there are 8,4 mio. asanas in hatha yoga, which equals the number of animals and organisms on the planet and each of them has a comfortable pose. through evolution we came across all these postures, so deep inside they are still inside of us.


later on we had anatomy class, where we at learned about structure and functionality of the knee joint. afterwards we put that in practice and derply analyzed the correct execution of warrier I and how to support student’s anatomy in its individuality by using belts and blocks.

i feel that every day and every class i learn something really valuable for my life, lessons that open my mind and help me on my path.
